미술 속에 은근히 스며든 식민주의적 관점과 타자의 시선으로 소비되는 아시아 현대미술에 질문을 던지며 미술이론을 공부했다. 생명과 존재의 감각에 관심을 가지고, 현재는 미술 전문 에디터로 활동하며 최근 관심이 생긴 개인과 집단의 트라우마가 동시대 미술에서 어떤 방식으로 재현되고 해석되는지를 글과 전시를 통해 탐구하고 있다.
I studied art theory while questioning the subtle traces of colonial perspectives embedded in art and the ways Asian contemporary art is consumed through the gaze of the Other.
With a sustained interest in the sensibilities of life and existence, I currently work as an art editor, exploring through writing and exhibitions how individual and collective trauma is represented and interpreted in contemporary art.
